KIM, is a unique crystal-forming concrete additive for batched concrete and or cementitious material. This cementitious powder admixture provides permanent, long-term protection for new concrete structures. Unlike most waterproofing applications, Kryton’s “KIM” waterproofing is built into the concrete yielding a concrete barrier as thick as the substrate.  This technology is referred to as Integral Crystalline Waterproofing or ICW. KIM is added to batches of concrete during the mixing process for new construction projects.  These crystals grow and migrate through the concrete to fill in the pores, capillaries, and microscopic voids that would otherwise serve as passages for moisture penetration.
